Carbon Fiber Leather Wallet

If you want a light wallet that's durable, this might be a good choice. The 3K Carbon Fiber & Leather Wallet has two carbon fiber panels on the outside of a leather wallet.

I just noticed it mentioned in this Wired Blog Network post. The carbon fiber panels should make the wallet more durable, but the post made it sound like it may not be too useful:
it does seem rather pointless as anything other than a style statement

The cost at CFG Direct is about $50, so I hope the carbon fiber panels do more than just make a style statement.

This wallet is available from Griot's Garage--the place for automotive enthusiasts to shop:

It's especially appropriate if you've got a car with the Carbon Fiber dash trim (i.e. some late model Mercedes, BMW, etc.) Anytime you leave your wallet on the console, it will coordinate with the dash trim! How cool is that!

Men really don't need their wallets to last longer--so this ultra-strong material may be superfluous for most:

Why bother with carbon fiber? The classic leather billfold already lasts and lasts:

Can't improve a classic!

I like this wallet but it is a bit overkill for a male.

I think males just want to fit their condoms, credit cards, and cash in a quick and simple looking wallet.

Well that is just my opinion.

The carbon fiber won't do much for durability if the rest of the wallet is leather.
RAGGEDedge gear has carbon fiber wallets that are fully waterproof, not to mention cheaper and better looking. I'd recommend giving them a try if you want carbon.

Well I like the carbon fiber is to be lightweight. Also it does seem rather pointless as anything other than a style statement.

The only Credit card wallet you will ever need to buy!
